Garlic Bread

Garlic bread is a well-known side dish with its roots in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. It consists of slices of bread, such as French or Italian bread, generously spread with a mixture of butter, garlic, and olive oil. Sometimes, parsley and other herbs are added. With the migration of Italians and their commitment to culinary traditions, garlic bread spread worldwide and gained popularity, especially in the United States, where it became a staple accompanying various meals. Over time, different shapes and flavors emerged, such as adding parsley, basil, and cheeses like Parmesan and mozzarella. Occasionally, tomato sauce is also included. Today, garlic bread has become a common item in many supermarkets, restaurants, and pizza shops around the world.
