Chocolate Cake

The Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 250 grams yogurt
  • 625 grams sugar
  • 150 grams eggs
  • 225 grams melted Baker’s Choice
  • 375 grams water
  • 125 grams flour
  • 125 grams cocoa powder
  • 15 grams baking powder
  • 15 grams baking soda

For the Chocolate Ganache:

  • 170 grams cream
  • 220 grams dark chocolate
  • 30 grams Baker’s Choice

 

For the Chocolate Cream:

  • 250 grams cream
  • 200 grams milk chocolate
  • 300 grams dark chocolate

How to prepare

Cake Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, mix water, eggs, vanilla, and yogurt, and whisk until combined.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda), then add to the wet mixture and mix.
  3. Add Baker’s Choice to the cake mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lined baking tray and bake at 160 degrees Celsius for 25-35 minutes.

 

Chocolate Cream Preparation:

  1. Heat the cream in a pot or microwave.
  2. Pour it over the chocolate and stir until fully melted.
  3. Add Baker’s Choice and stir well until creamy.

 

Chocolate Ganache Preparation:

  1. Heat the cream, then pour it over the chocolate and stir until melted.
  2. Add Baker’s Choice and continue stirring until well combined.

 

Final Decoration:

  1. Once the cake has cooled, cut off the top to level it.
  2. Place it inside a removable frame tray for easy removal.
  3. Spread an even layer of chocolate cream on top.
  4. Refrigerate for two hours or until the cream is fully set.
  5. Pour the ganache over the top and decorate with chocolate pieces or fruits as desired.
