The Ingredients
2 cans of 170 g cream
4 tablespoons of cup cheese
Qatar, sweetened condensed milk or honey
1/2 kilo of coarse konafa
200 grams of Baker’s Choice
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1 cup of fresh mozzarella
Amounts of diameter :
2 cups sugar
Water 1.5
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon of blossom water
How to prepare
Rub the kunafa with Bakers Choice and sugar, and divide it into two parts.
Put the first section on the tray and press it well so that it sticks, and lift the ends a little over the edges of the tray.
In a bowl, mix the two types of mozzarella cheese, cream and liquid cheese until the mixture is homogeneous.
Pour the mixture over the kunafa and spread it out until the bottom layer of the kunafa is covered.
Put the second half of the remaining konafa on top of the tray.
Heat the oven at 200°C, and put the tray in it until it turns golden brown from the bottom.
Turn on the oven from the top until the top turns red.
In the meantime, make some homemade syrup and pour it over the kunafa, or you can use sweetened condensed milk.
Towing method:
Mix sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat, while continuing.
Stir to boiling.
Reduce the heat and let the mixture boil for 5 minutes.
Add lemon juice, mix and let it boil for another 2 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat, add the blossom water, stir, and leave it to cool.
