The Ingredients

  • 170 g Baker’s Choice, cut into 3/4
  • 1.5 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 9 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 130 grams of chocolate chips

How to prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius, and grease a brownie tray with a little bit of Baker’s Choice.
  2. Place Baker’s Choice in a saucepan over low heat, until melted.
  3. Combine sugar and salt with Baker’s Choice, transfer to a bowl and leave to cool slightly.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla, and stir with a wooden spoon until the brownie mixture is smooth.
  5. Add the flour, cocoa, and chocolate chips to the brownies and stir until combined.
  6. Pour the brownie mixture into the pan and distribute evenly.
  7. Put the tray in the oven for 40-45 minutes, until a match stick is inserted and a little of the mixture sticks.
  8. Before slicing and garnishing the brownies, seal the brownies in an airtight container and leave to cool slightly.
